Im a huge Michael Jackson fan - i think the guys a genius (abeit a troubled one). So it pained me to leaf through the catalogues of his stuff from his Neverland Ranch thats being sold off. Its rumoured that hes in pretty big financial trouble which may also be the reason for his announcment of a host of live shows at the 02 last week.

I remember reading a quote in a newspaper during the last days Woolworths much publisied decline. It was from a customer who has just come out of a Woolies store, when they were basicly selling everything including the shop fittings for next to nothing, commented "it was like rifling through the pockets of a corpse". It feels apt.
