Banksy has been in the press a wee bit recently. A few days ago these beauties were seen being put up in broad daylight down in NY City. Apparently they were completed by a company that was commissioned by Banksy (although they weren't allowed to openly admit it). Theres been some speculation about what the message of the images is. Greedy Wall Street? The Vermin authentication company set up for the Lyon and Turnbull auction? Just some good press for his upcoming NY Show? Whatever the reason ive got to say i love the way the images have been executed to look like they've been drawn in pencil. Is this the evolution of the Banksy "brand"?
